Our annual Recycling Project will be back, bigger and better this year! We will be collecting books, clothes, e-waste and more!

3rd Taman Jurong Youth Network

Taman Jurong Youth Network commenced it's third term in October 2023. With a new term, we have renewed our mission and vision for the youth network, the youths in the Taman Jurong community and our partnerships with other stakeholders in the community. 

We would like to thank our members for our support the past term, as well as all our volunteers and partners whom we have worked with in the past 2 years. 

As we continue in the third term, we aspire to continue serving the Taman Jurong community, while empowering youths with growth, leadership and engagement opportunities.

Project Kinder

Project Kinder is an event that brings together young families for a fun day of family-bonding and learning! Families visited the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum and engaged in fun activities together, while learning about animals and equipped themselves about science facts!

Recycling Project 2020

The annual Textbook & Storybook Recycling Project aims to encourage a circular economy where residents can both donate pre-loved books and purchase them at affordable prices.

In 2020, over 2500 books were sold and all proceeds were donated to Taman Jurong Community Development Welfare Fund to support future community initiatives! 

Taman Jurong National Day Celebration 2020

Starring Taman Jurong residents from all walks of life and filmed exclusively in our Taman Jurong neighbourhood. "A Not So Lonely Road' follows the life of Choon Lim, a food delivery-rider, as he travels around Taman Jurong and experiences life's trials and tribulations amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. Amidst all these struggles, he meets various people that give him reason for hope and optimism!

Taman Jurong Blood Donation Drives

Our Blood Donation Drives is conducted three times per year. Thanks to all our donors, we have helped to collect over 1000 units of blood in 2020. 

Youth Action Challenge - JustKayakLah!

Together with the ITE College West Service Ambassadors Club, we organised our very first water sport activity for the children from Tasek Jurong at Jurong Lake Gardens! 

It was the first kayaking experience for most of us, and we had a great time learning a new skill while staying active during the pandemic!
